News - Scottish Court building
We have been selected by main contractor Morris & Spottiswood to provide a new lift installation within the historic High Court of Justiciary (supreme Criminal Court of Scotland) building in Lawnmarket, Edinburgh.
The lift installation is required to transport prisoners from the basement of the building to the courts on the upper floors, therefore a highly robust and adaptable installation was required, to incorporate swipe card access, CCTV installation and anti vandal finishes.
Oakland has been selected due to our capabilities in providing custom solutions, together with our willingness to work with all concerned in this prestigious project to find solutions acceptable to all parties.
